Tim Kcehowski has spent his career involved with innovative technologies such as TDM, SONET/SDH, Ethernet, crypto equipment, L2-L7 switching, ATM, VoIP, DSL, WDM, FSO, terminal servers and specialized tactical military communications equipment. Tim has published several articles in magazines such as Data Center Journal, CIO, Computerworld Hong Kong, and Network World. These articles are highlighted under Tim’s profile . As a director and manager for the past 23 years for corporations such as Telco Systems, Premisys Communications, Copper Mountain Networks, and DRS-Codem Systems, MRV and now APCON Tim has focused on selling to service providers, healthcare, financials, systems integrators, transportation, and government agencies including defense sectors, the intelligence community, Department of Defense, and civilian agencies. As a member of the APCON team for four years now, Tim is directly responsible for Apcon’s business strategy for the east coast.
APCON manufactures in Wilsonville, OR products (hardware, software, firmware, down to the printed circuit board level) to centralize and simplify connectivity of all network SPAN ports and passive TAPs to network sensors (Probes, IDS, Forensic, application monitoring, compliance, and performance monitoring tools). The APCON products are used for network security, network monitoring, cyber security, compliance, big data, VM monitoring, SDN, and data mining projects as well as low latency measuring for high frequency trading networks.
Tim received his BS degree from Thiel College, with a double major in computer science and business administration.
