Letter to Our CNI Community: Celebrating 30 Years of Success

2024 marks the 30th year in business for CNI Sales, Inc. Through hard work, perseverance, (mostly) good decisions, great co-workers and colleagues, and a lot of luck, CNI is celebrating three decades in the IT industry. It’s hard to imagine where the time went, but it’s so exciting to think about what our future holds. In the spirit of this momentous anniversary, we have been working on several updates that we are excited to share with you.

A New and Improved Online Presence

If you’ve visited us online lately, you may have noticed that things look a little different. We have done a total refresh of our website content, including an updated outline of our wide and ever-expanding list of solutions and services. We want to be a one-stop shop for all of your technology needs, and our website now makes it easier than ever for you to review our areas of expertise.

This project was completed in conjunction with TSRM Group and Mercer Design — a huge shoutout and thank you to your teams for the collaboration!

Renewed Focus on Key Technologies

In the past thirty years, key technology trends have continually shifted and evolved, and our team has shifted and evolved with them. In 2024, we have a renewed focus on security, data center, and cloud solutions. Protecting your business from threats, managing and storing your data, and designing optimal cloud strategies will be on the horizon for us.

Fostering New Connections (AND Nurturing Existing Ones)

Being trustworthy and reliable is the reputation that we strive to uphold. We take our relationships seriously and are so appreciative of our growing community of team members, customers, and partners.

Over the last few years, we have formed new partnerships with companies including Arctic Wolf, Cradlepoint, Check Point, SentinelOne, and Vectra to name a few. Joining forces with these capable organizations has provided our customers with more options to choose from when considering their unique needs and challenges and has allowed for more integrated and advanced solutions.

We also want to honor our long-term relationships with HPE Aruba Networking, Extreme Networks, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Juniper Networks, and so many others. Our dedicated teams strive to be your trusted advisors by supporting customer environments or deployments as well as training and certifying on the latest technologies.

We are also pleased to announce two new additions to our team:

Oliver Cross – Account Manager
Oliver joins CNI from Marine Corps Special Operations Command. With nearly a decade of experience operating in complex environments, Oliver transitioned from a role in national defense to networking and cybersecurity.
Andrew Bachman – Account Manager
Andrew joins CNI after spending over two years in the cybersecurity industry with Proofpoint. Located in Pittsburgh, his consulting background and IT and cybersecurity expertise will allow CNI to expand our footprint in Western PA and beyond.

 
Reaching this 30-year milestone has inspired us to reflect on how CNI began. We believe CNI has been successful because of two main qualities: technical expertise and meaningful relationships. These have been ingrained in CNI from day one. As technology drastically changed over these 30 years, CNI learned, evolved, and adapted—and our relationships have grown and flourished too.

For starters, we have so much gratitude and respect for our CNI team. Their commitment to our mission statement, incredible work ethic, and willingness to “wear many hats” makes each one of them so very special and integral to our CNI family.

Our customers and partners are also treated like our family, because without them, we cannot succeed. We truly believe that our long-term customer relationships are our greatest achievements. Some of these relationships span the entire 30 years of our existence and have motivated us to grow as advocates and advisors of their technology. Of course, we welcome new customers as well and pledge to have the same loyalty and devotion to their growth and success. We want to build a solid foundation and partnership with them that we will look back on and be proud of in another 30 years. To our customers and our partners—new and old alike—thank you for your trust in CNI. There is no CNI without all of you.
